This policy explains what information Kervox collects, how it is used and the choices you have. We keep what we collect to a minimum.
1. Information we collect
- Account details. If you create an account: your email address, your username and, if you add one, a profile picture. Accounts are kept in our own database, and passwords are stored there only as a salted hash; we never see or store them in plain text.
- Order details. The products and quantities you order, your email address for guest orders, the payment status, the coin you pay with, the payment address and the blockchain transaction IDs of your payment, which are public on the blockchain, the messages in your order chat, the delivery details (stored encrypted) and any evidence you add to a dispute.
- Support messages. The name, email address and message you send through the Support page, and the support tickets you open.
- Usage statistics. Privacy-friendly visit statistics such as pages viewed, the referring site, browser, device type and country. They are collected without cookies and don't identify you personally.
- Email opens and clicks. Emails we send, such as order confirmations, can tell us whether they were opened and which links were clicked, through a small image and link redirects. We use this only to know that our emails arrive and work. Links that sign you in or reset your password are never tracked.
3. How we use your information
- To create, secure and run your account.
- To process orders, take payments and deliver products.
- To answer your support messages and review disputes.
- To run and improve the store.
- To meet our legal obligations.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open, and support messages for as long as we need them to help you. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we may keep order and payment records where we need them for accounting, disputes or the law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. Send your request through the Support page and we'll respond as quickly as we can.
7. Security
Sign-in sessions are kept in secure cookies that scripts on the page cannot read, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
8. Children
Kervox is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
